Mr. President,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the widespread devastation and the loss of so many people’s lives caused by the hurricane in the States of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. A natural disaster on this scale is profoundly tragic for everyone involved.
In the name of the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, and in my very personal name, I would like to convey to you my sincerest condolences. I would be grateful if you would extend my sympathy to all whose lives have been so severely affected by this tragic event.
